STUDY HAS BEEN COMPLETED, BRIEF OMB ON THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY AND
HOW THOSE RESULTS HAVE BEEN AND WILL BE USED AT THE LOCAL, STATE
AND FEDERAL (INCLUDING DEA) LEVELS. FURTHER, THE PRETEST APPEARS TO
HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED ON MORE THAN NINE PERSONS AND AS SUCH WAS
SUBJECT TO THE PAPERWORK REDUCTION ACT. THE DEPARTMENT AND OJJDP
MUST INSTITUTE PROCEDURES TO ENSURE THAT THIS VIOLATION DOES NOT
RECUR AND THAT ALL PRETESTS RECEIVE PROPER CLEARANCE BY OMB UNDER
THE PAPERWORK REDUCTION ACT. THE DEPARTMENT IS TO INFORM OMB OF THE
NEW PROCEDURES INSTITUTED TO ENSURE PROPER CLEARANCE. THESE
CONDITIONS ARE BEING IMPOSED TO ENSURE THAT THE INFORMATION
COLLECTION CONFORMS TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PAPERWORK REDUCTION
ACT AND ITS IMPLEMENTING REGULATIONS AT 5 CFR 1320.

LONG TERM STATE-OPERATED JUVENILE CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES.
