OMB approves the
information collection "Request to Dispose of Commodities or
Technical Data Previously Exported" for one year only. Before
resubmitting this information collection to OMB, ITA must review
options for automating re-export license applications. The
justification statement must describe the nature of the review
conduct and the conclusions reached. In particular, the review
should explore the possibility of electronic filing from abroad,
perhaps coordinated through Foreign Commercial Service offices in
foreign countries, in order to expedite the licensing process.
