Abstract: THE FINAL RULE IMPLEMENTST SECTION 7(B) OF THE INDIAN SELF-DETERMINATI AND EDUCATION ASSISTANCE ACT WHICH REQUIRES THAT PREFERENCE BE GIVEN TO INDIAN ENTERPRISES AND ORGANIZATIONS IN CONTRACTING AND SUB-CONTRACTING AND TO INDIANS IN EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING. THE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS IN THE PROPOSED RULE ARE FOR MATERIAL THAT CONTRACTORS MUST SUBMIT TO ENSURE THAT THE PREFERENCES ARE PROVIDED.
