THIS STUDY OF ANTIFOULING PAINT USAGE
AT BOATYARDS AND SHIPYARDS IS PART OF A SPECIAL REVIEW OF ALL
REGISTRATIONS FOR USE OF TRIBUTYLTIN (TBT) IN ANTIFOULING PAINTS.
THIS STUDY IS NECESSARY BECAUSE OF THE CONCERN THAT TBT USED IN
ANTIFOULING PAINT MAY EXPOSE NONTARGET AQUATI ORGANISMS AT
CONCENTRATIONS CAUSING ACUTE AND CHRONIC EFFECTS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
