Agency should account, in its own ICB, for the burden associated
with information collected through CAIR. (2) EPA should ammend this
ICR to reflect any changes to the final rul (3) EPA should conduct
a study of the CAIR rule in improving the efficiency of the Federal
government's collection of health and safety related information
before this ICR is submitted for renewal in 3 year Remarks added,

by the following and apply to 2010-0019 since OMB Number 2070-0089
was transferred to 2010-0019 on 10/05/88 (see Notice of Transfer

Requested by EPA: EPA will require reporting for additional
chemicals under CAIR through rulemaking. The NPRM will serve as the
supporting statement for the information collection. It shall
request comments on the reporting requirements, as required by the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), and direct such comments to both EPA
and the OMB Desk Officer. At the final stage of the rulemaking, EPA
will submit to OMB an Inventory Correction Worksheet to adjust the

REPORTING AND RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS AND A LSIT OF QUESTIONS
FROM WHICH SPECIFIC INFORMATION REQUESTS WOULD BE ASSEMBLED ON A
CHEMICAL-BY-CHEMICAL BASIS. THIS RULE WILL BE USED TO OBTAIN
INFORMATION NEEDED BY EPA AND OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES TO SUPPORT THE
