Abstract: THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS EFFORT IS TO PROVIDE A STUDY TO THE U.S. FIRE ADMINISTRATION WHICH WOULD ENTAIL THE COST/BENEFIT FOR LOCAL GOVERNMEN BUILDERS, DEVELOPERS, INSTALLERS, FIRE DEPARTMENTS, THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY, AND PROPERTY OWNERS WHO INSTALL RESIDENTIAL SPRINKLERS WITH RESPONSE HEADS IN DIFFERENT HOUSING TYPES.
