Abstract: HUD WILL COLLECT DATA FROM LUHA'S FOR INPUT INTO A NEW URBAN HOMESTEADING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (UHPMIS). THESE HOUSING, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, AND HOUSING REHABILITATION DATA ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THE STATUTORY REQUIREMENT THAT HUD PROVIDE AN ANNUAL REPORT TO CONGRESS AND THAT HUD CONDUCT CONTINUING EVALUATIONS OF URBAN HOMESTEADING PROGRAMS.
