TITLE 10 U.S.C. 684 PROHIBITS THE
PAYMENT OF ACTIVE DUTY PAY TO AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE RESERVES OR
NATIONAL GUARD WHO IS RECEIVING VA DISABILITY PAYMENTS. HOWEVER,
THE STATUTE DOES PERMIT INDIVIDUAL TO WAIVE THE VA BENEFIT FOR A
PERIOD EQUAL TO THE NUMBER OF DAYS OF ACTIV RESERVE OR NATIONAL
GUARD DUTY.
