The Acquisition
Management Systems and Data Requirements Control List (AMSDL)
identifies all acquisition management system/service documents and
data item descriptions authorized for contractual application by t
Department of Defense. A requirement in the AMSDL may be tailored
dow for a contractual action but not expanded. In addition to items
explicitly listed in the AMSDL, this approval covers requirements
bein reviewed in accordance with the policies and procedures set
forth in DOD Instruction 5010.12. Such requests are to be submitted
for inclusion in this docket not later than 6 months from the date
of thei use. Approval also extends to requirements in this list (or
previous lists) which are in contracts now in place. The
information collected under this clearance is information
deliverable under contracts. Due to the confusion that may result
whe expiration dates on forms under this clearance are different
than contractual dates, DOD need not display expiration dates on
the forms. We understand, however, that DOD will make such dates
available upon request.
