THIS IS A SHORT
TERM PROVISIONAL CLEARANCE TO GIVE MMS TIME TO RESPOND TO THE
FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: 1) WHY IS THIS COLLECTION MONTHLY? 2) DOES
SELF-REPORTING OF ADVERSE ENVIRONMETAL EFFECTS WORK? (I.E., HAS
ANYONE EVER REPORTED PROBLEMS WITHOUT OUTSIDE PROMPTING?) 3) AT A
MINIMUM, WHY NOT COMBINE THE LAST MONTH'S REPORT WITH THE FINAL
REPORT? 4) WHAT INFORMATION IS CONTAINED IN THE DAILY LOG AND IS IT
OR WOULD IT BE COLLECTED BY INDUSTRY REGARDLESS OF THE REGULATIONS?
THE NEXT INFORMATION COLLECTION REQUEST WILL INCORPORATE ANY
CHANGES MADE PURSUANT TO DISCUSSIONS AND AGREEMENTS ABOUT THE
RESPONSES TO THE ABOVE QUESTIONS.
