Abstract: THE INFORMATION COLLECTED ON FORM SSA-3885 IS NEEDED AND USED TO REDUC THE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS OF INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED BY THE AMOUNT OF THEIR GOVERNMENT PENSION OR TO DETERMINE IF THE EXCEPTION IS APPLICABL THIS FORM PROVIDES THE FACTS ABOUT THE RECEIPT OF THE GOVERNMENT PENSION WHICH ARE USED TO DETERMINE IF THE INDIVIDUAL'S SOCIAL SECURIT BENEFIT WILL BE REDUCED, BY HOW MUCH AND THE EFFECTIVE DATE.
