Abstract: WITH THE INCREASED DEMAND FOR POULTRY PRODUCTS THE DEPARTMENT EXAMINED ITS CURRENT PROCEDURES AND HAS IDENTIFIED A MORE EFFICIENT INSPECTION METHOD THAT WILL INCREASE THE PRODUCTIVITY OF POULTRY SLAUGHTER FACILITIES WITHOUT REDUCING CONSUMER PROTECTION.
