Abstract: THE CONSERVATION RESERVE PROGRAM REGULATIONS AND CONSERVATION RESERVE CONTRACT (CRP-1) ARE USED TO ADMINISTER THE CRP. THE PROGRAM COMPENSATES ELIGIBLE PERSONS FOR REMOVING HIGHLY ERODIBLE CROPLAND FROM PRODUCTION. REMOVAL WILL REDUCE SEDIMENTATION IN STREAMS, ENHANC WILDLIFE HABITAT, AND HELP INCREASE COMMODITY PRICES RECEIVED BY FARMERS BY CURBING PRODUCTION.
