Abstract: PART 274.8 OF THE FS REGULATIONS REQUI EACH STATE AGENCY OPERATING AN ATP ISSUANCE SYSTEM TO REPORT MONTHLY TO FNS ON THE RECONCILIATION OF TRANSACTED ATP'S AGAINST THE MASTER FILE OF THOSE HOUSEHOLDS AUTHORIZED TO PARTICIPATE. THE RESULTS OF TH PROCESS ARE USED TO IDENTIFY STATE AGENCY LIABILITY FOR LOSSES, TO REDUCE WASTE, AND TO REGULATE AGAINST PROGRAM ABUSE.
