the following conditions: 1) the current version of Customs Form
3461 will expire July 1986, 2) use of the revised Form 3461 (draft
dated 8/13/85) is to begin in June 1986, 3) continued use Form
3461A is approved through October 1988, 4) Customs will notify
brokers that quantities (Ques. 23) will not be required until the
Automated Manifest System is initiated, 5) the Department will
submit copy of the written notice to brokers concerning Ques. 23,
6) the Department will submit with its next clearance request an
analysis of the duplication between forms 4361 and 7501, including
an explanation of why the duplication is the most cost/effective
solution for brokers and the Customs Service for filing the
requested information electronically or in paper form, and 7)
inventroy correction worksheet will be submitted to reflect changes
in burden as they occur. Remark added 12/06/85 as follows:
Clearance conditions of 10/31/85 remain in effect except that use
of the revised form 3461 (draft 08/13/85) is to begin in May
1986.
