Abstract: THE MONTHLY WHOLESALE TRADE SURVEY PROVIDES THE ONLY CONTINUOUS MEASURE OF MONTHLY WHOLESALE SALES INVENTORY AND STOCK/SALES RATIOS. INFORMATION RECEIVED BY THE BUREAU THE CENSUS INDICATES THAT THE DATA HAVE SIGNIFICANT APPLICATION TO THE NEEDS OF THE PUBLIC AND OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.
