Abstract: PART 68 OF THE FCC RULES REQUIRES THE CUSTOMER TO PROVIDE THE TELEPHONE COMPANY WITH THE FFC REGISTRATION NUMBER AND THE RINGER EQUIVALENCE NUMBER OF ALL DEVICES CONNECTED TO THE TELEPHONE COMPANY'S LINES TO PROVIDE ASSURANCE THAT THE DEVICES WILL NOT HARM NOR OVERLOAD THE TELEPHONE COMPANY'S FACILITIES.
