SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS. CHILD CARE
PROGRAMS. MORE COMPLETE AND RELIABLE INFORMATION IS NEEDED ABOUT
ABSENT PARENTS' CURRENT SITUATION IN ORDER FOR HHS TO DEVELOP A
STRONGER CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT SYSTE AND TO ASSESS THE
COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF THE SYSTEM NOW IN PLACE. THE AFFECTED PUBLIC
WILL CONSIST OF STAFF MEMBERS OF SELECTED STATE CHILD SUPPORT
ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC WHO ARE
RECEIVING/PAYING CHILD SUPPORT.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
