Although this
information collection is required by statute, the metho dology and
explanation of burden hour computations are not clear. The answer
to question 12 in the supplimentary information part of the tex
contradicts the calculations provided in block 17 of SF83. Addition
ally, the explanation of the derivation of the calculation in the
text does not support the accompanying calculation. This
requirement, therefore, is extended for use under the Paperwork
Reduction Act for six months (expiration date, 7/30/84).
Resubmittal by MARAD in that period must include a supported
calculation whic is consistent throughout the document.
