EPA IS CONDUCTING A ONE-TIME SURVEY OF
LOCAL EDUCATION AGENCIES TO EVALUATE COMPLIANCE WITH THE
ASBESTOS-IN-SCHOOLS IDENTIFICATION AND NOTIFICATION RULE. THE
AGENCY WILL USE THE SURVEY RESULTS TO DETERMINE (A) EXPOSURE TO
MATERIALS CONTAINING FRIABLE ASBESTOS AND (B) POSSIBLE FOLLOW-UP
ACTION.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies

1320.8(b)(3).
