INFORMATION COLLECTIONS CONTAINED IN PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES
INCLUDING WRITTEN PROCEDURES, CRITERIA FOR REVIEW, DELEGATIONS AND
LINES OF AUTHORITY. 2) A DETAILED JUSTIFICATION FOR EACH
INFORMATION COLLECTION REQUIREMEN CONTAINED IN HANDBOOK 4320.1. 3)
A DETAILED ESTIMATE OF BURDEN FOR EACH REQUIREMENT. 4) A FORMAL
SUPPORTING STATEMENT.

WHEN HUD ACQUIRES TITLE TO PROJECTS
AND PROPERTIES BY VIRTUE OF DEFAUL OR MORTGAGES IT INSURES, HUD
MUST DO ALL THOSE THINGS NECESSARY TO PROTECT, MAINTAIN AND SELL
THE PROPERTIES JUST AS ANY OTHER REAL ESTAT OWNER. IT DOES THIS
THROUGH PROCUREMENT CONTRACTS WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
