Abstract: PUBLIC LAW 81-171 REQUIRES THAT HUD ASSURE FOR EACH PROJECT THAT (1) CURRENT FINANCING PLANS BE MAINTAINED, (2) REASONABLE PROGRESS BE MADE TOWARD STATUTORY OBJECTIVES, (3) PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF REDEVELOPER OCCUR AND (4) PERIODIC FINANCIAL REPORTS BE SUBMITTED TO ASSURE THAT FEDERAL FINANCIAL INTEREST IS PROTECTED. THESE FORMS PERMIT HUD TO ME THESE RESPONSIBILITIES.
