Abstract: THE REQUIREMENT FOR THIS FORM STEMS FROM THE DISASTER RELIEF ACT OF '74, P.L. 93-288, AND FEDERAL DISASTER ASSISTANCE REGULATIONS, (44 CFR PART 205). AFTER APPROVAL, THE MODIFIED STANDARD FORM 270, " REQUEST FOR ADVANCE OR REIMBURSEMENT" FORM IS UTILIZED TO DISBURSE, TO THE APPLICANTS, THE NECESSARY FUND ADVANCES AND THE FINAL PAYMENT FOR EMERGENCY WORK AND THE REPAIR, RESTORATION, OR REPLACEMENT OF DISASTER RELATED DAMAGED PUBLIC FACILITIES.
