THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY IS TO
PROVIDE BASIC DATA ON PUBLIC LIBRARIES IT WILL ALSO PROVIDE
SPECIFIC DATA TO BE USED IN THE HEARINGS FOR THE REAUTHORIZATION OF
THE LIBRARY SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION ACT (LSCA) BY THE OFFICE OF
LIBRARIES AND LEARNING TECHNOLOGISTS (OLLT). THESE DATA WILL BE
USED TO ASSESS THE OLLT LIBRARY PROGRAMS FOR PUBLIC
LIBRARIES.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
