CONFORM WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF IRM 4253.2. IT SHALL BE USED TO
EVALUATE MATERIAL SUBMITTED BY TAXPAYERS IN CONNECTION WITH THE
EXAMINATION OF TAX RETURNS. FAILURE TO COLLECT THE INFORMATION WILL
RESULT IN FAILURE TO MEET THE QUALITY REQUIREMENT OF IRM 4253.2 AND
LOSS OF TAX REVENUES TO THE GOVERNMENT.
