Terms of Clearance: This is a generic clearance. Before any information is collected, the Office of Solid Waste must submit copies of data gathering instruments, etc. to OPRM. OPRM has 10 working days to review the material. If approved by OPRM, OMB has 10 working days to review the material. In addition, the following conditions apply: 1. Based on initial experience, EPA must reestimate the burden when resubmitting this item for clearance. EPA needs to make efforts to reduce the burden of this item in response to industry comments. 2. EPA must work with the appropriate industry group in designing each survey. Evidence of such consultations must be provided when submitting data gathering instruments for OPRM and OMB review. 3. EPA must work with the appropriate industry group in developing procedures for handling confidential data in the data gathering exercises. Evidence of such consultations must be provided when submitting data gathering instruments for OPRM and OMB review.
