REGULATIONS ISSUED UNDER PACKERS AND
STOCKYARDS ACT OF 1921, AS AMENDED, PERTAIN IN PART TO RECORDS AND
REPORTING REQUIREMENTS OF FIRMS AND INDIVIDUALS SUBJECT TO THE ACT.
THE REGULATIONS PROVIDE BUSINESS TRANSACTION SAFEGUARDS THAT ARE
NECESSARY TO PROTECT FINANCIAL INTEREST AND TRADE PRACTICE OF
LIVESTOCK PRODUCERS AND OTHERS IN THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
