OFTEN TIMES PROPOSE TO COMPROMISE THE CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LIABILITY
BY PROPOSING THAT THEY SUBMIT AN OFFER IN COMPROMISE. DURING THE
COURSE OF NEGOTIATIONS, THE INDUSTRY MEMBER MAY MAINTAIN THAT THEY
ARE UNABLE TO AFFORD THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF THE SUGGESTED OFFER IN
COMPROMISE. IN THESE CASES, OUR AGENCY MAY REQUEST THAT THEY
COMPLETE THIS FORM SO AS TO DETERMINE THE LEGITIMACY OF THEIR
ASSERTION.
