SECTION 507(B) OF P.L. 95-87 PROVIDES
THAT PERSONS CONDUCTING UNDERGROUND MINING ACTIVITIES SUBMIT TO THE
REGULATORY AUTHORITY ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION REGARDING OWNERSHIP
AND CONTROL OF THE PROPERTY TO BE AFFECTED BY THE ACTIVITIES, THEIR
COMPLIANCE STATUS AND HISTORY. THE REGULATORY AUTHORITY USES THIS
INFORMATION TO DETERMINE THAT ALL LEGAL, FINANCIAL AND COMPLIANCE
REQUIREMENTS ARE SATISFIED PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OR DENIAL OF THE
PERMIT.

1320.8(b)(3).
