Abstract: THIS INFORMATION COLLECTION REQUIREMENT IS MANDATED BY SECTIONS 201 AND 501 OF P.L. 95-87. IT IS NEEDED TO IDENTIFY THOSE LAWS OR REGULATIONS OF A STATE THAT PROVIDE MORE STRINGENT PERFORMANCE STANDARDS OF OSM'S REGULATIONS. IT IS USED BY THE SECRETARY OF INTERIOR IN DETERMINING WHETHER TO ADOPT STATES' STANDARDS OVER OSM'S STANDARDS.
