ONE OF THE MOST SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH
THE CURRENT NATIONAL CRIME SURVE IS THE UNDERREPORTING OF CRIMINAL
VICTIMIZATION INCIDENTS. NORC WILL DEVELOP TWO FIELD TESTS TO
INVESTIGATE VARIOUS QUESTIONING STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING REPORTING.
THE SECOND OF THESE TESTS WILL INTRODUCE REFINEMENTS BASED ON
ANALYSIS OF DATA COLLECTED IN THE FIRST TEST.
