THE AUTOMOBILE & ADAPTIVE
EQUIPMENT PROGRAM PROVIDES A ONE-TIME ALLOWANCE FOR THE PURCHASE OF
AN AUTOMOBILE TO SERVICE-CONNECTED DISABLE VETERANS WHO HAVE THE
LOSS OF OR THE LOSS OF USE OF A HAND(S), ARM(S), LEG(S), OR ARE
BLIND. THOSE WHO CAN SAFELY DRIVE THE VEHICLE THEMSELVES WITH THE
USE OF ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT ARE PROVIDED NEEDED ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT.
