ONE'S CLAIM FOR VA BENEFITS WHEN A SURVIVING SPOUSE HAS HAD VA
BENEFITS DISCONTINUED BECAUSE HE/SHE REMARRIED AND NOW IS NO LONGER
MARRIED. THE SPECIFIC INFORMATION REQUESTED WILL ENABLE A PROPER
DETERMINATION AS TO RE-ESTABLISHING ELIGIBILITY FOR VA BENEFITS AND
THE APPROPRIATE EFFECTIVE DATA FOR SUCH BENEFITS. AUTHORITY IS 38
C.F.R. 3.55.
