Abstract: EACH EPA RESEARCH CONTRACT AND GRANT CONTAINS PATENT RIGHTS CLAUSE WHICH SETS FORTH REPORTING REQUIREMENTS, AND THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE GRANTEE OR CONTRACTOR WITH REGARD TO INVENTIONS MADE UNDER THE CONTRACT OR GRANT PROJECTS. THE GRANTEE OR CONTRACTORS MUST SUBMIT AN ANNUAL AND FINAL REPORT OF WHETHER INVENTIONS WERE MADE UNDER SUCH GRANT OR CONTRACT. EPA FORM 3340-3 IS DESIGNED TO EXPEDITE COMPLIANCE WITH THE PATENT CLAUS
