Abstract: THIS REGULATION ENCOURAGES THE DOMESTIC CONSUMPTION OF FRESH IRISH POTATOES PRODUCED IN THE CONTINENTAL U.S. BY DIVERTING THEM FROM NORMAL CHANNELS OF TRADE AND COMMERCE. THE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE IS OFFERING TO MAKE PAYMENT FOR THE DIVERSION OF CROP POTATOES FOR USE AS LIVESTOCK FEED.
