THESE REGULATIONS PROVIDE FOR
VOLUNTARY INSPECTION OF PET FOODS ON A REIMBURSABLE BASIS UNDER
AUTHORITY OF THE AGRICULTURAL MARKETING ACT 0F 1946. THESE
REGULATIONS PROVIDE INSPECTURAL CONTROLS OVER THE KIND AND QUALITY
OF INGREDIENTS USED, SANITATION, PROCESSING OPERATIONS, AND
LABELING OF CANNED AND SEMI-MOIST PET FOODS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
